The Planets of our Solar System are being honored in new Forever Stamps, so you can use these stunning images of planets, including Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune to send out cards and... whatever else still actually gets sent through the mail. New "Pluto Explored" stamps including Pluto and the New Horizons spacecraft that explored it will also hit the market this summer.

A "Pluto: Not Yet Explored" stamp was on the New Horizons craft, issued in 1991, lending extra significance to the newly issued stamps. NASA is very particular about their phrasing in the announcement of the new stamps, separating Pluto from the "Views of our Planets" series specifically.

This continues a long history of cooperation between NASA and the USPS for American stamps, which in the past have included Nebulae, other space exploration craft like Pioneer 10, Messenger, and others, as well as individuals and teams of astronauts. All these newly issued stamps, available now, are Forever stamps, so Uranus will never run out of value.
