Tommy Flanagan, best known for playing Filip "Chibs" Telford on FX's biker gang drama Sons of Anarchy, and Alan Ritchson, best known for providing the motion-capture and voice performances for Raphael in the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, rescued a man from an overturned vehicle.
According to TMZ, the actors were headed to the Houston airport together on Sunday after taking part in Space City Comic Con when they witnessed a "truck blow a tire and flip across the highway."
The driver of the wrecked truck, Jonathan Elder, tells us the actors rushed to pull his unconscious brother out of the passenger seat. In a scene straight out of an action flick ... he says 'Raphael' and 'Chibs' used a crowbar to free his bro right before the truck caught fire. - TMZ
The driver (Paul) transporting Flanagan and Ritchson to the airport that day, who also happens to be a military vet, "provided medical assistance until emergency crews arrived." To thank him for his help, and his service to our country, Flanagan took a picture with him and posted it on his Twitter account.
Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O'Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
