Sarah Paulson has won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or a Movie for her role in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
Considering Paulson was up against Kirsten Dunst from Fargo, Kerry Washington from Confirmation, Felicity Huffman from American Crime, Audra McDonald from Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill and Lili Taylor from American Crime, it was a major win for the actress. This is the actresses' first Emmy win, but she's been nominated a total of six times throughout her career.
"Im so stunned to be sharing the category with so many incredible actresses," Paulson said during her speech, comparing her crew to "magicians."
Paulson also thanked Ryan Murphy, saying, "He changed my life."
