With all of the unanswered questions surrounding the upcoming sixth season of American Horror Story, the series' all-new logo seems very appropriate.

FX revealed the show's new logo via social media earlier today, and sadly, the image tells fans little about the newest season. The logo features a stark black background and is accented with an interesting bright red image. The accent itself is drawing the most attention as it's simply the number six and with a question mark merged into it.

Yeah, it doesn't reveal all that much.

The upcoming series of American Horror Story has been kept hush-hush with creator Ryan Murphy speaking selectively about the show. Attending PaleyFest, Murphy did say the new season would be unlike it's predecessors. "The interesting thing about the next season is that we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done," he explained.

Murphy also went onto say that the show's creative team had been inspired by "the opera" and that the horror genre often, "deals with the innocence of children, and their wide-eyed way into it. Both (Season 6) ideas we're working with have elements of children." Beyond those details, the only other news for the season have been casting updates which confirmed that many members of the show are returning for Season 6.

Talent such as Kathy Bates, Denis O'Hare, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, and Matt Bomer have said they'll be returning in the Fall. Lady Gaga also confirmed that she would be returning to the show following her lauded appearance in last season as The Countess.

American Horror Story will return to FX this Fall as filming headed underway earlier last week in Los Angeles, California.
