What Is Carrie Underwood's Net Worth

Carrie Underwood has been a major force in country music ever since winning Season 4 of American Idol in 2005, and the 34-year-old's star has only continued to rise in the years since.

She is considered the most successful American Idol winner ever, and all of her success has naturally added up to some major bucks. Celebrity Net Worth reports that Underwood is worth $85 million, and while a large part of that comes from music, Underwood has also had plenty of other lucrative opportunities throughout her career.

After releasing five studio albums and headlining a slew of tours, Underwood is now one of the most recognizable names in the genre. She has sold more than 65 million records worldwide and won seven Grammy Awards, twelve Academy of Country Music Awards, eight Country Music Association Awards, three CMT Artists of the Year awards and seventeen CMT Music Awards.

Underwood has also had 15 No. 1 singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and her 2005 debut album, Some Hearts, became the best-selling solo female debut album in country music history upon its release.

The singer has also had partnerships with companies like Almay, Skechers and Olay, and in 2015, she launched CALIA by Carrie Underwood, a line of activewear she helped design, in partnership with Dick's Sporting Goods.

She has served as the voice of Sunday Night Football for the past five seasons, and this year had her song "The Champion" featured in Super Bowl LII and 2018 Winter Olympics coverage.

In addition to music, Underwood tried her hand at acting with 2011's Soul Surfer and a turn as Maria in The Sound of Music Live! in 2013, as well as an episode of How I Met Your Mother.

Underwood is also a philanthropist, establishing the Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation in 2009. Underwood, who hails from Checotah, Oklahoma, has continually aided her hometown, and she is also involved with organizations that support children, animal rights and relief efforts.
