Jana Kramer is not here for mommy shamers' "unwarranted" advice.

The 33-year-old country crooner told PEOPLE at Chicago's Windy City Smokeout festival that she's ~so~ over other moms' unsolicited parenting advice.

"I know everyone has an opinion; everyone has a right to an opinion," she says. But the single mom of 17-month-old Jolie Rae said she doesn't appreciate when haters make comments or critiques about something she hadn't asked opinions for in the first place.

"What frustrates me is when they think they know something better," Kramer says. "Unwarranted advice is not what moms want."

Kramer should know; she's no stranger to mommy shamers or unwarranted parenting advice. Last summer the "I Got the Boy" singer received backlash after sharing a photo of baby food at the grocery store. Internet moms quickly took to her photo to berate her for not making Jolie's food herself and starting her daughter on solid food too early, among other things.

"So easy to make your own! Steam and purée pretty much any fruit or veggie," one mom wrote. "Great way to avoid pesky preservatives! Although I know you're a busy momma!"

"Make your own," added another. "It's cheaper and way healthier," alongside a winking emoji.

"She's only 4 months. Not 6 months," wrote another commenter.

Kramer clapped back with the perfect Instagram response: an image of a notebook which read "Dear Mommy Shamers, unless you are Jolie's doctor, her father, or her mom, do NOT tell me how to raise my child, or how to feed her. Sincerely, Jolie's MOM."

While Kramer is clearly fed up with mommy shamers, she tells PEOPLE that has no problem listening to other parents' advice when she asks for it — in fact, she even took to Instagram for advice on how to get her daughter to sleep through the night.

"One of the fans said to put lavender oil on the bottoms of her feet, so I did and she slept through the night," Kramer shares. "I don't even know if it was that or she was just so tired from not sleeping the three days before, but [I use] lavender oil every night now."

She says that she finds the exchanging of welcomed back-and-forth feedback among other fellow moms to be encouraging.

"It's really nice, and I feel like it's another way of moms being able to help [other] moms, encourage them," she explains, giving a shout out to stay-at-home-moms by saying they do "the hardest work" of all.

"And showing you can do it all," Kramer says. "You can be a great mom and a great businesswoman."
