Near the end of Guardians of the Galaxy, Yondu takes the orb from Peter Quill, but Quill warns Yondu not to open it, because he knows what will happen. Despite Quill's warnings, Yondu opens the orb when he is back on his ship. Instead of the Infinity Stone being inside, Yondu finds a "troll" doll. When Yondu looks down at the "troll" doll, he cracks a big smile.

Some viewers have been confused by this scene, because they wondered why Yondu would smile about Quill having tricked him and swapped out the Infinity Stone. It's also been a big question of why Yondu opened the orb to begin with, considering what would have happened if the Infinity Stone had really been inside.

In an appearance at Wizard World Chicago Comic Con this weekend, Michael Rooker explained exactly what Yondu was thinking during that scene.

"The thought in my head was that's my boy," said Rooker. "That's my boy. I taught him well. He knows how to do it. He can survive now, you know. All that went through my head."

When asked if Yondu was still going to go kick Quill's butt anyway, Rooker replied, "Well, yeah. That look happened after the camera cut."

Guardians of the Galaxy is currently playing in movie theaters everywhere.
