X-Men Days of Future Past James McAvoy

Asked whether he would fear for the safety of his X-Men in a battle against Marvel's Avengers, X-Men: Days of Future Past star James McAvoy said no -- that any fight between the two teams would end with Marvel's merry mutants on top. "It would be a disaster," McAvoy quipped in an interview with MTV. "There's like 40 of us, and like five of them," he said. "And one of them's a half-man, half-robot: You just turn off the power and he's done." Actually, with Avengers: Age of Ultron coming up, there will be a couple of extra human Avengers and an extra robot, so the score would be a little more even, but that doesn't matter much in McAvoy's math. "Another one's a guy with a shield who's a bit strong. I mean, come on," he continued. "Guy with a bow and arrow? We've got guns and stuff, [Wolverine's] got claws. [Professor X] could just go like 'sit down,' and they'll all sit down … I could be like 'take your clothes off,' and they'd all be taking their clothes off." X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is rated PG-13 for nudity (among other factors), will be in theaters next Friday, May 23.
