The Flash: Grant Gustin's Full Costume Revealed

DC Entertainment have released an image of Grant Gustin in his full Flash costume for the upcoming Flash television pilot (via E! News). We already had a sneak peak of Gustin's mask, but now we see the full body design. The suit looks like it uses a mesh around the joints and something like leather around the rest of the body. The suit was designed by Colleen Atwood, who has won Oscars for her costume work on Alice In Wonderland, Memoirs of a Geisha, and Chicago. "I hope the fans who treasure the character are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has achieved with this latest version of The Flash's iconic suit," David Nutter, the director and executive producer of The CW's Flash pilot, said in a statement. The Flash is a spinoff of The CW's Arrow, where Gustin first appeared as Barry Allen. The Flash pilot is currently filming and is expected to air later in 2014.
