Community To Air G.I. Joe-Themed Episode

There are a lot of people out there celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the iconic G.I. Joe toy brand (and its accompanying media franchise) in their own unique ways. Unsurprisingly, Dan Harmon is apparently going to be one of them. Veteran comics writer/artist/editor Shannon Denton apparently joined the Community creator for a special episode of the eccentric NBC sitcom that sees the study group recast as members of the legendary Hasbro franchise. The animation will apparently be handled by Starburns Industries, an animation studio operated by Harmon, longtime Community writer and bit player Dino Stamatopoulos and Joe Russo II of The Simpsons fame, among others.
