As part of the upcoming RoboCop film's viral marketing campaign, a website for the tech company OmniCorp has gone live. In addition to tech specs for OmniCorp's entire line of currently available defense robots, there's also a video of the company's Consumer Electronics Show keynote presentation from the year 2027, which introduces the RC-2000 project. The RC-2000 project will merge human and robot together, combining the best technology has to offer with the moral core of a human being. You can check out the video and sign up to be a part of the RC-2000 program at OmniCorp's website. In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before. RoboCop is scheduled for theatrical release on February 12, 2014.
