Daredevil TV Series To Be Written By Drew Goddard

The recently announced Daredevil TV series looks to be getting a writer. According to TheWrap, Drew Goddard, who was a writer-producer for Lost and Alias, is in negotiations to write the Daredevil series for Netflix and Disney. Goddard was also a writer on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel TV series. On the movie side, he wrote World War Z and co-wrote and directed The Cabin in the Woods. If it isn't obvious from the names of his previous projects, he's worked quite a bit with Joss Whedon, who has a particularly strong relationship with Marvel.Daredevil is one of five live-action series being developed in a deal between Disney and Netflix. The other series are Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and a Defenders miniseries.
