Man of Steel's Kevin Costner Teaming with Pacific Rim's del Toro for Midnight Delivery

In what could turn very well turn out to be one of Legendary Pictures's first movies with Universal Pictures, Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro will produce Midnight Delivery, a thriller written by Luther creator Neil Cross, Deadline reports. Cross reportedly "helped polish the script" for Pacific Rim, and Costner, of course, has some directorial experience (and two Oscars) himself, so either of those two might have a good deal of influence on how the film shapes up if they become attached in its earliest stages. No director has yet been named. Lava Bear Films is currently attached to produce but given the players, don't be too surprised if Legendary becomes involved in this when and if they finalize their expected deal with Universal.
