300: Rise of An Empire Character Poster Released for Queen Gorgo

A second character poster for 300: Rise of An Empire has been released--this time featuring Lena Headey's Queen Gorgo and the caption "Avenge him!" On Friday, a poster labeled as "1 of 6" appeared on the 300 Facebook page, featuring the face of one of the Immortals. The film largely revolves around the naval battle of Artemisium, and sheds some light on the backstory of Xerxes, the Persian leader seen in 300. Zack Snyder, who directed 300 and Man of Steel, is producing the film, based on a story by Frank Miller, who will write a graphic novel to accompany the film.
