During his Academy Awards speech, Best Picture winner Ben Affleck told the audience "it doesn't matter if you get knocked down in life, what matters is that you've got to get back up." Of course, he may have been speaking to his own challenges, which include a promising career as a superstar leading man cut short by a series of bad decisions, from which he rose to become one of the most respected young directors in Hollywood. But it's perhaps funnier to imagine him talking to Jennifer Lawrence, the Best Actress winner, who shortly before Affleck's speech had gotten up to accept her trophy and failed to make it to the top of the stage stairs before falling and struggling to make her way up to perform her acceptance speech. Of course, when Entertainment Weekly reporter Jess Cagle talked to Lawrence, and asked her what was going through her mind when she won the award, her answer was simple: "Don't trip." Oops. We've embedded the video below, because we're meanies.
