Have you ever thought it would be cool to have a flawless costume, that you could slip into and really inhabit your favorite character? Actor Andrew Garfield, who plays the title character in July's Amazing Spider-Man, doesn't paint such a rosy picture of the experience. Appearing on Ellen yesterday, the actor said that the costume he wore in the movie was too tight to allow for underpants, so "it's just me" under there and the material it's made of is designed to irritate your skin. "It's made of something that is designed to make you irritated," he said during the interview, which you can watch below. "I don't know what the material name is, but that's the description underneath." He also explained that with skintight clothes and no margin for error, he had to work out constantly in order to look right for the film. Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, from whom we shamelessly lifted the screen capture.
