Seth Rogen has been hitting the press and media circuit hard over the last few weeks in between pranks and PokeRock hunting, and it looks like the hard work is paying off.

Rogen's R-rated animated film Sausage Party has been officially certified fresh on the review scores aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, and to celebrate the film has released a new TV spot, which can be viewed above.

Sausage Party is currently sitting at an 83% fresh rating, with only 18 rotten reviews out of 104 total. The film also has a rather stable 71% in the audience score and has built up fairly good word of mouth on social media.

The film opened in North America today, along with Disney's Pete's Dragon reboot, and will do battle with DC and Warner Bros. Suicide Squad which is in its second week. Suicide Squad is expected to win the box office pretty handily, with Sausage Party estimated to open in the $20 million range, right in line with previous Rogen films Neighbors 2 and This Is The End.

Sausage Party stars Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, and Selma Hayek.

Sausage Party, the first R-rated CG animated movie, is about one sausage leading a group of supermarket products on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens when they become chosen to leave the grocery store.
