Dylan O'Brian Tweets For First Time After The Maze Runner Set Injury

For the first time since suffering an injury on the set of Maze Runner: The Death Cure, actor Dylan O'Brien has finally sent out a tweet ot his 4.55 million followers.

The brief tweet read: "LGM Baby."

For those of you who are wondering what "LGM" means, the acronym stands for "Let's go Mets!" The reference is to the Dylan's favorite major league baseball team, the New York City Mets.

Since posting on Wednesday night, the tweet has already received more than 19K retweets and 37K favorites.

Dylan's last tweet was from back in March, only 14 days before the incident that halted the production of the next installment to the Maze Runner series.

While the director for The Death Cure, Tyler Posey, has already confirmed that his lead actor O'Brien is making a full recovery, it sure is nice to hear from the 25-year-old himself.

There has not been much word regarding Dylan's health after the on-set accident. Some reports have indicated that O'Brien suffered a "facial fracture" and "lacerations," but there has no been no official confirmation as of yet.

O'Brien has not publicly addressed the accident, but a report obtained by InfoNews.ca writes: "An action sequence was being filmed for a motion picture. This young worker was attached to a vehicle by a harness, lanyard, and overhead truss system when he climbed onto the back (of) another vehicle. As the vehicles slowed, the trailing vehicle the worker was anchored to slowed more rapidly than the vehicle the worker climbed onto."

Most recently, O'Brien had a starring role in Deepwater Horizon alongside Mark Wahlberg and Kate Hudson. The film was released on Friday, September 30 and is still in theaters now.

After originally being set for a February 2017 release date, Maze Runner: The Death Cure is set to hit theaters on January 12, 2018.
