Joss Whedon took his leave of social media a while back, but he's made his return to Twitter with a new project focused on getting people to register to vote. He didn't come alone either, and enlisted some of his celebrity friends (and a few noncelebrities for good measure) for a new PSA video for savetheday.vote.

The video features Robert Downey Jr., Scarlet Johansson, Don Cheadle, Mark Ruffalo, Julianne Moore, Keegan-Michael Key, Yvette Nicole Brown, Leslie Odom Jr., Taran Killam, Clark Gregg, Bradley Whitford, Martin Sheen, Colbie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, and more.

"On Tuesday, November 8th this country will make one of the most important, the most important, one of the most important decisions in its history. You have a chance, you have an obligation to be a part of that decision. You might think it's not important, you might think you're not important, but that's not true, and the only way we can prove that to you is by having lots of famous people, lots, and lots of famous people, just a s***-ton of famous people, repeating how important it is."

That important point they're referring to is "registering to vote", something you can easily start by heading to their website and clicking through the steps for your particular state.

Regardless of where you stand politically, you should always exercise your right to vote, but as a bonus, fans will get to see Mark Ruffalo naked. Unfortunately, no one told him about that stipulation before he signed up for this.

You can find the organization's mission statement below.

"We are a short-form production company dedicated to the idea that voting is a necessary and heroic act. That every voice in this wonderfully diverse nation should, and must, be heard. That the only thing that can save democracy is the act that defines it. We are committed to fighting the apathy, cynicism, and honest confusion that keeps citizens from using their vote. And to reminding an increasingly out-of-touch and compromised set of representatives that they are answerable to the people they were hired to serve."
