He's won a Pulitzer, several Tony Awards, had a hit musical sellout to standing room only with resale tickets going as much as twenty thousand dollars a seat, and has co-written the music to Moana, a surefire success coming from Walt Disney Animation Studios this fall. Well, to celebrate the last of those recent achievements, Lin-Manuel Miranda took over the WDAS official instagram account over the weekend, and it was predictably glorious.

Miranda did the proper instagramming, posting pictures of his dog, his coffee, and even with celebs, including his directors for Moana (they've done a lot for Disney). Then, naturally, the talented singer and songwriter sang some Disney songs. After singing "One Jump Ahead (Reprise)" from Aladdin, "Santa Fe" from Newsies, and "Be a Man" from Mulan, he started bringing in guest stars. That included Auli'i Carvalho (voice of Moana) joining him for a little "Under the Sea" segment, and the big finish - "Gaston" from Beauty and the Beast, featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, which can be seen above. Johnson voices the demigod Maui in Moana.

The whole group: Miranda, directors John Musker and Ron Clements, Johnson, and Carvalho finished things off with a sneak peek at one of his brand-new songs from Moana, which comes to theaters in November 2016.

And to close it out, here's a new one from #moana with @auliicravalho & @therock! Thanks for letting me play on the #linstagram! #dreamscometrue

Lin-Manuel Miranda's whirlwind will continue with Disney, as he's also been cast in the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns.
