Country Star Kane Brown's Sister Stabbed

Country star Kane Brown's 19-year-old sister was stabbed multiple times during an altercation with another young woman.

Heidi Swafford is recovering in the hospital after being stabbed in the shoulder and neck during a fight, which took place in Chattanooga.

"She's going to be alright, she will make it, I mean she has nerve damage but with time maybe that will heal up," the victim's mother Roxanne Dodson told WRCB.

The "Used to Love You Sober" singer first announced the news on social media after hearing about it while on tour.

"Prayers for my sister please," the post read. "I'm all the way out in Nebraska and get a text that she was stabbed 4 times! You better hope I don't find out who you are. I'm so sick to my stomach right now."

He later tweeted out his gratitude for the outpouring of support he received from fans.

The Chattanooga Police Department currently has issued an arrest warrant for a 16-year-old female suspect. She faces charges of attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault.
