After being off the air for ten years now, a Malcolm In The Middle reunion could be happening according to Bryan Cranston.

Cranston, who portrayed Malcolm's father Hal on the comedy series, says he is hoping for a reunion sooner rather than later. At the Maui Film Festival, where Cranston was honored with a Navigator award, he stated when asked about the possibility of a reunion, "I sure hope so. I really do for no other reason than that I miss those people like crazy and I stay in touch with them. The boys are doing great and Jane [Kaczmarek] is doing wonderfully and I'd love to."

Cranston continued, "There's a possibility we want to start talking about the possibility of putting together a story that makes sense about that family 10 years or 12 years later."

While it may be a bit premature to hypothesize when and where a Malcom In The Middle reunion project would air, reboot shows such as Fuller House have been a huge hit for streaming services such as Netflix.

During the interview Cranston also said, "You and I have seen this business change before our eyes. I don't know how it works. I don't know how everything works anymore but all I want to do is tell the story and have a good experience. "

The series premiered on Fox back in 2000 starring Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, and collected seven Emmy awards during its six year run. The plot was based around Muniz's character who appears to be a normal boy, but at the same time is also a genius.
