Comedian turned actor Kevin Hart's home was robbed this weekend with stolen property lost amounting up to $500,000. The thieves entered Hart's Tarzana, California home while Hart and family were away for the weekend. They made off with watches, jewelry, clothes, and other personal belongings of Kevin Hart and family.

The actor was in Miami at the time of the robbery, and fortunately no one in his family was home either when the crime was committed.

The house is located in an extremely exclusive neighborhood with two security gates and two security guards, yet somehow the culprits managed to slip past all of it. When Hart returned home on Monday, the door had been pried open and he then noticed all of the missing property.

Law enforcement has informed TMZ that the robbers entered through the backdoor of the home. While the thieves were somehow able to gain access to the house, the police do not believe at the moment that this was the result of an inside job. The police are now searching through footage of the indoor and outdoor surveillance video in order to obtain leads on the identity of the thieves.

Kevin Hart has been incredibly busy lately while promoting his upcoming film Central Intelligence with co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The film hits theaters this weekend on June 17, 2016.
