Back To The Future Self-Lacing Sneakers Getting Released

Nike and Michael J. Fox have confirmed that the self-lacing sneakers from Back to the Future will be released in spring 2016.

Michael J. Fox and the Michael J. Fox Foundation made the announcement today.

Proceeds from the sale of the sneakers will go towards the foundation.

A pair of sneakers modelled after the ones from Back to the Future, but without the self-lacing mechanic, previously raised $9.4 million for the foundation.

Look for the shoes in spring 2016.
