Wizard World's CONtv has launched a new miniseries, Comic Book America, that will follow host Mike Carbonaro as he travels the country in search of the finest books, toys, and memorabilia.

The seires debuted last week on CONtv, where fans can watch "Carbo" as he finds comic books, vintage playsets, classic artwork, and sports memorabilia through the first four episodes. CONtv director of programming, Nash Herrington, produces the series.

Some of the unique items and collections discovered so far include a Doctor Strange collection, classic Joe Palooka, Flintstone playsets, and others.

Carbonaro is a self-made expert pop culture collector, currently working as a buyer at Dave & Adam's Cardworld and buying comic and pop culture collections from around the world.

"'Carbo' is a fixture at Wizard World shows and one of the most knowledgeable, entertaining figures in the collectibles world," said John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO in press release. "His enthusiasm, well known to thousands who have attended our events, comes through loud and clear in this fun, informative series that Wizard World fans will love."
