New details concerning the rumored Star Wars live action television series have surfaced, and now extends into movie theaters as well.

When Cinelinx broke the original story, they mentioned that the series – which is described as serving the same purpose in the Star Wars universe as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.serves in the Marvel cinematic universe – would feature a character from a Star Wars novel.

Cinelinx is now following up by saying that character is Moff Delian Mors, who will debut in Paul Kemp's Lords of the Sith and is the Star Wars's first canonically LGBT character.

The comparison to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. becomes more apt here, because Mors is rumored to be introduced in a way similar to how Marvel introduced Agent Phil Coulson. According to the report, Lucasfilm want to introduce Mors on the big screen, probably in a standalone spinoff, possibly Rogue One. The big screen appearance could lead to use in the live action TV series.

Lords of the Sith takes place after the events of Revenge of the Sith, but prior to Star Wars Rebels. Rumors surrounding Rogue One suggest it takes place shortly before A New Hope, so the timeline with Mors seems to work out pretty well.

There's no word on just how big of a role Mors would play in Rogue One. She could appear as a cameo, or she could be the primary antagonist. We won't know until the film opens on December 16, 2016.

In the meantime, you can get to know Delian Mors when she makes her first appearance in Lords of the Sith, on sale April 28.
