Tomorrow on August 11, Degeneration X turns 20 years old. DX brought some of the most raucous moments in WWE history that played a crucial role in WWE's ultimate victory over WCW.
The founding members, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Chyna arguably created the Attitude Era and it only took two words. Those same words served as the reason for a record amount of after school detention sentences as nearly every kid in America ran down their school hallways crotch chopping.
In order to pay homage to the timeless group, WWE had current Superstars rock some DX merchandise and strike signature poses. Take a look:
The New Day
These guys look all too natural cosplaying DX. While we're not sure which one is Chyna, it doesn't matter - this is just fun to look at. 20 years from now, WWE Superstars may, in fact, be paying homage to The New Day for all of their wonderful contributions to the culture.
The Hardy Boyz
Wait, these guys could have actually been in DX! The Hardy's and DX shared a similar WWE timeline but never really became rivals. Who knows maybe in an alternate universe, the Hardy's are DX's founding fathers.
Sasha Banks & Bayley
Sasha Banks looks like she's practiced HBK's pose at least 100 times. Bayley and Sasha certainly have the same vibes in their relationship that Triple H and Michaels were famed for. Who knows, maybe they'll start their own version of DX one day...
Nakamura looks all too natural with those glow sticks - maybe they'll be a part of his theatric SummerSlam entrance...
Breezango is the best thing in WWE you're not paying attention to. Their Fashion Files rival any segment from the Attitude Era in terms of comedic achievement.
Jason Jordan may be WWE Hall of Famer one day, but picturing him in DX takes a fair amount of imagination. Maybe his next photo shoot can be with his father, Kurt Angle, sharing a jug of milk.
