WWE Hall of Famer, Jake "The Snake" Roberts joined Sports Keeda's podcast, The Dirty Sheets, to discuss the current state of WWE.

Roberts expressed frustration with how WWE is booking its heels and faces, but the recurring theme of his opinions was that WWE isn't getting the most out of their talent.

Up Next: Randy Orton: WWE is About Story, Not Flips

Particularly, Randy Orton:

"I love Orton's stuff. Randy is one flicker away from being totally unstoppable. but he's still missing that one little catch. I would love to sit down with Randy and spend like a week with him, just him and I; maybe on an old boat out on a river or something and just talk. But it's something - it's not his physical attributes, it not his movements in the ring, he's got all that stuff. But there's something missing from Randy that keeps him from being that guy."

Should Randy Orton pass on Jake Roberts' Summer Camp? It's an enticing invitation, but one that Randy will likely decline. However, even though Jake's offer is unconventional, and a little creepy, the WWE legend may have a point.

While Randy Orton has had a wonderful, lengthy career that's lead him to a whopping 13 WWE Championships, few would consider him to be an all-time great. Equipped with an insanely popular finisher, the RKO, a great physique and a rare lineage, Randy Orton could have been one of the best to ever lace up a pair of boots.

No one would ever question if Orton was good at his job, but we do often ask why he isn't better. Is it fair to project our expectations onto him? Probably not. But when guys like Jake the Snake Roberts are saying the same things, the critique looks that much more legitimate.

One thing to remember is that Randy Orton is only 37 years old. While his physical prime may be behind him, his storytelling prime may be a couple years away. Triple H is 47, both John Cena and AJ Styles are both 40 and all of these men are able to communicate in the ring better than they ever have.

On second thought, maybe that little boat trip with Jake Roberts could be worth it.

So keep expecting great things from Orton, fans. He has plenty of time left in his career to give us something special. Maybe the best version of Orton is set to be unleashed against Jinder Mahal in a Punjabi Prison. We'll keep an out.
