5 Things That Must Happen On Tonight's RAW
Monday Night Raw has been circling the drain. The past two weeks have provided the lowest ratings [...]
Answers for Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt
Is Bray Wyatt gunning for Finn Balor or is he not? Does Balor care that Wyatt cost him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship or not? Its time for answers.
Last week, WWE followed up one of their hotter main event angles by keeping Wyatt and Balor hours apart on Raw; seemingly dropping one of their more intriguing storylines. Even if creative plans have changed for these two heading into Extreme Rules, Balor has to strike back tonight or risk looking like an idiot.
Don't let him punk you out, bro!
Supernatural characters always have a strange time finding their way into main WWE storylines, however, when you have two of them on the same roster, they can make magic together.
Balor Club Finn has been interesting since his return, but Demon King Balor needs to happen soon!
prevnextSomething big for Roman Reigns
Brock Lesnar's gone. Without him, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman were completely holding up Raw (and sometimes flipping it over). Now The Monster Among Men will be only among doctors for the next few weeks and Roman needs something big to carry he and Raw through the next pay per view.
There are several rumors swirling around what the plans will be for The Big Dog, but make no mistake about it, Roman needs to be the center of Raw's main event scene heading into the summer.
If he slips down into a secondary storyline, it will not only be a slight to him, but a huge disservice to the amazing story he and The Undertaker told at WrestleMania.
Hopefully, tonight will begin Roman's chase for the following championship ....
prevnextThe Miz Wins the Intercontinental Championship
Yes, the biggest rumor is that Roman Reigns was already scheduled to face The Miz for the IC strap coming out of his feud with Braun Strowman. The Miz's match with champion, Dean Ambrose, was pushed ahead to this week's episode, giving us reason to believe he will regain the belt in time to begin a feud with Roman Reigns for Extreme Rules.
We need a heel champion now more than ever and The Miz is better than anybody in the business about generating interest for whatever feud he's put in.
Not only does Miz need this belt to begin a very intriguing program with Roman, but Dean Ambrose needs to lose the belt to give him a different direction on Monday nights. We can't have all three members of The Shield be on the same roster and on the same babyface side of the roster without them teaming up. We need one of them to join the dark side in order to hold off on an eventual reunion and Ambrose is at the point in his career where a heel turn could be absolute magic.
prevnextPaul Heyman advocating for Brock Lesnar
Fine, Brock Lesnar is sitting out until Great Balls of Fire (real ppv name, by the way). I've come to accept it and while I do feel its horrible timing that is crushing Raw's ratings, I do see some positives for making Lesnar the special attraction champion that only he can pull off.
However, we can't just keep ignoring the big red belt. We need to put some plans in motion for when Lesnar does return and the simple way to do that is to get his advocate, Paul Heyman, on the mic to discuss why Lesnar isn't around.
We need Heyman to begin laying the groundwork for his return and more importantly, for who will earn the chance to be his first opponent at Great Balls.
We just need to see that the Universal Championship still exists because right now it feels like it died with the Goldberg Lesnar feud at WrestleMania.
prevnextLet the Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle Saga begin
When in doubt, bring back a McMahon. Last week on Raw, Stephanie McMahon's name was invoked for the first time since she went flying through a table at WrestleMania. This week, we need Stephanie to return and begin the saga of her battle the GM she never assigned to the job.
Yes, I know the squabbling authority figure story has been overdone a million times, but this is Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle we're talking about here. The two have a long history of amazing chemistry on screen and will no doubt be magic together once again.
Taking this route will not only lead to comedic gold, but to Angle's eventual return to the ring (hopefully not against Triple H).
