Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice featured the DC Extended Universe debut of Batman (Ben Affleck) and Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), as well as the live-action movie debut of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).
In addition, the film also brought one of the Man of Steel's greatest foes, the creature that killed Superman, to the big screen in Doomsday.
Doomsday stood toe-to-toe against DC Comics' full trinity in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Bringing a beast like that into a movie requires a lot of work. Designer Jerad S. Marantz has shared some of his work on Instagram.
As you can see in the posts below, some of the early renderings of Doomsday had much more in common with Dan Jurgen's original design for DC Comics.
