Suicide Squad: Alternate Costume And Tattoo Designs For Jared Leto's Joker

Tina Charad, a graphic designer and illustrator for the film industry, has updated her official website with designs for David Ayer's Suicide Squad. A half-dozen of the images focus solely on the hair, makeup, costumes, tattoos, and accessories she developed for Jared Leto's Joker, and many of them, offer our first look at designs that didn't weren't used in the film.

Some of Joker's alternate tattoo designs include: Numerous "HA HA HA" tattoos carefully placed all over his torso to resemble a sleeveless t-shirt (a.k.a. a wife-beater); "THE JOKER" in big, red-and-black letters centered on his middle-lower chest; a cartoonish portrait of Harley Quinn, an homage to how she first appeared in Batman: The Animated Series, is on his right-shoulder; and a dark-haired woman smoking a cigarette (with "B-TCH" written underneath her image) is on his left-shoulder.

The alternate costumes include gold-and-purple boxing shorts with "Wicked" printed on one-side and "Joker" printed on the other, a gorgeous tailcoat embroidered with gold, and his signature purple suit with multiple-fabrics woven together.

Written and directed by David Ayer, the film starred Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, and Viola Davis. The cast also included Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach, and Karen Fukuhara in her feature film debut.

Suicide Squad: The Extended Cut is now available on Digital HD and wil be released on Blu-ray (4K and 3D) on December 13.
