Comedian, actor, and director Chris Rock, who was once cast as Jimmy Olsen in Tim Burton's never-produced Superman Lives, has now weighed in on Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

He made no bones about how he thought the idea of The Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) going toe-to-toe with the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) was downright ludicrous.

"Superman can't fight a guy that drives a car!" Rock told J.J. Abrams during their Tribeca Film Festival (via Vulture) panel on Friday. "He gets a flat. Like he's going to fight Superman. Needs Triple A, but yeah, he can fight Superman. He's got JUMPER CABLES, and he's going to fight SUPERMAN."

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
