FX is bringing in all the big names for its next original series.
The network has just decided to move forward with a new crime show called The Mastermind, based on a series of investigative stories from Evan Ratliff, the founder of Atavist Magazine.
Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, will be executive producing and directing the new series. Additionally, Fargo and Legion showrunner Noah Hawley and his 26 Keys production company will also executive produce The Mastermind alongside The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman's Skybound entertainment.
According to THR, the series will revolve around Paul Le Roux, a former programmer and criminal cartel boss and DEA informant.
While Hawley has made his name at FX with Fargo and Legion, Robert Kirkman has long been involved with AMC. FX originally passed on The Walking Dead when Kirkman pitched it, and it ended up going to the rival network.
He also produces Fear the Walking Dead for the network, and created Outcast for Cinemax.
There's no word as to when the new series will begin production.
