Is DeMario Jackson Returning?
Even though the Warner Bros. investigation determined that DeMario Jackson was not in the wrong in regards to the alleged incident with Corinne Olympios, the 30-year-old reality star is reportedly not going to be returning for Bachelor In Paradise.
Because of the accusations made against him, DeMario wants nothing to do with the upcoming production, TMZ reports. Sources close to Jackson say that he has been suffering from anxiety because of the scandal and has been seeing a therapist to deal with his emotions.
The reports that Jackson won't be returning to BIP come only days after Warner Bros. cleared him of any wrongdoing this week.
"The tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy," Warner Bros. said in a statement.
prevnextWhat About Corinne Olympios?
Because she feels like a "victim" of sexual misconduct, Corinne Olympios is not expected to return to BIP. After the Warner Bros. investigation concluded that there was no wrongdoing, the 24-year-old's legal team was not satisfied with the conclusion.
Olympios' lawyer, Marty Singer, issued a statement on Tuesday in response to Warner Bros.' investigation.
"It needs to be made crystal clear that production of Bachelor in Paradise was shut down because of multiple complaints received from BIP producers and crew members on the set," Singer said. "It was not shut down due to any complaint filed by Corinne against anyone."
He continued by saying: "It comes as no surprise that Warner Bros., as a result of its own internal investigation, would state that no wrongdoing had occurred. Our own investigation will continue based on multiple new witnesses coming forward revealing what they saw and heard."
