J.J. Abrams seems to have taken some inspiration from Marvel icon Wolverine for his latest hair style.

That's because in a new photo alongside Kevin Smith and Greg Grunberg (via Grunberg's Twitter account) the director of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens is sporting a cut that looks awfully similar to something Logan might wear, sans the brown jacket and cigar of course.

Grunberg captioned the post with: "Great day on the set of #GeekingOut with my partner in crime @ThatKevinSmith & a pretty cool buddy of mine."

Grunberg was part of the cast on The Force Awakens and J.J. Abrams looks to be a guest on Grunberg and Kevin Smith's new AMC late night talk show Geeking Out. The 30-minute show will feature the duo talking all things pop culture, and will start airing in late July, right in time for San Diego Comic-Con.

When talking about the new show Grunberg said: "I get all my work from my friends. Now it's time for me to take advantage of those relationships even more. I am going to get every single genre-based writer, director and actor I know to come on our show and geek out with us. And they're going to thank me for it. I love how Kevin Smith smells and we fit together like two hibernating fan-bears. Thanks to AMC and the Weinsteins, the rest of the world is going to get to see what's inside our dark, dank geek cave. It's going to be a fun 30 minutes, if I can just get Kevin to stop talking and smoking."
