Natalee Holloway disappeared during a class trip to Aruba over 12 years ago, and her family is still trying to find out what exactly happened to the 18-year-old.

A new Oxygen series, titled The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway, follows Holloway's father, Dave Holloway, as he searches for answers, and an interview with Holloway's classmate, Jessica Caoila, may shed some light on the teen's final hours.

Caoila traveled to Aruba with Natalee and shared that she was with the teen on the students' final night of their trip and that the girls left a local bar, Carlos 'n Charlie's, to catch a shuttle to their hotel.

"Natalee and I were actually talking at the bar and interacting and having a good time," she said, noting that while the girls weren't close friends, they did interact on that last night, with Caiola even taking photos of Natalee at the bar.

Caoila said that she had stopped to get some street food when she looked up and saw her friend being driven away in a white car.

"While we were waiting for street food I remember seeing Natalee in a white car driving away, the window was down so we could see it was her in the back of the car," she recalled. "My impression was 'Oh, great, she found a ride back to the hotel.' "

Caoila also remembered seeing Joran van der Sloot, the prime suspect in Natalee's disappearance, multiple times throughout the trip, including at the bar the night Natalee disappeared.

"What I can tell you is he was there multiple nights of our trip. I believe it was the second to last night I saw him at the casino," she said. "He was absolutely at Carlos 'n Charlie's, 1000 percent."

During the series, human remains were found in Aruba and are currently undergoing DNA testing to determine whether or not they are Natalee's. The results should be back within a month.
