“#7monthspregnant & enjoying the sun,” the social media fitness star captioned her sandy photo.
She told fans on July 31 that she’s entered the third trimester of pregnancy, adding, “Trying to stay in the moment & enjoy every second since we don’t plan on having any more babies after this one!”
This is Stage’s second child, and she’s been the victim of major criticism over her barely-there baby bump throughout both pregnancies. Some have even gone as far as to accuse her of surrogacy and lying about carrying her children herself.
When she first posted fit pregnancy photos carrying son James in 2015, she wasn’t prepared for the backlash she’d receive for having visibly shredded abs covering her small belly.
"I didn't think anything of the way I looked, I just thought, This is me," she told Cosmopolitan. "I think women are beautiful, and we're all different shapes and sizes. Some women don't show a lot when they're pregnant and my mom carried this way when she was pregnant. She didn't show until around six months, so I didn't think anything of it."
Even when Stage was nine months pregnant with James, her bump was still nestled beneath her tight, toned stomach.
Though she says she’s carrying differently and feels more tired (being a mother will do that to you), she’s been cleared to continue exercising and her doctor says she's growing another healthy baby.
Though critics have accused both children of being malnourished, Stage gave birth to healthy baby James—8.7 pounds and 22 inches—two years ago.
