Tasha Maile's Controversial Video Breastfeeding During Sex
In a video from 2015 titled "Do I Have Sex While Breasfeeding?", Maile shared a memory of having sex with her husband while feeding her son.
"We are pleasure beings, we are meant to enjoy sex and pleasure and all things can be orgasmic," Maile stated in the video. "I've had a lot people ask me if it's okay to breastfeed and have sex. From what I remember, I remember sleeping with my ex-husband and my son was on me breastfeeding and we would have sex from behind or something."
Maile, aka "Spiritual Tasha Mama", who describes herself as a "vegan breastfeeding mama", faced backlash from commenters and critics, who called her decision inappropriate and even accused her of incest.
In a follow-up video posted in May, Maile clarified her comments.

"My 3-month-old would not allow me to put him down at all. So he was attached to me 24/7. And he was always using me as a binky at night," Maile said in the video. "So we did it while he was sleeping next to me or on me. It had nothing to do with my child. My child was not in the act of what we were doing."
The mom also defended her choice to breastfeed her son during intercourse last week when she appeared on the U.K. show This Morning, saying, "I think many other parents have had sex in the same room that their children are sleeping in."
When pressed by the show's host Holly Willoughby about whether the baby is awake during sex, she replied, "Even if the baby is awake and off to the side ... If the baby is OK, they're not judging you."

Toddler Son's 'Sick' Comment in Another Old Video Raises Concerns
Now that interest has been reignited in Maile and her lifestyle, this week she is being criticized for a completely different video — another one from two years ago in which she breastfed her 3-year-old son, Josiah.
While some comments on the video are supportive of the message she is sending about natural meaning, others are concerned with a comment her son made at the end of the video.
In the clip, which lasts more than three minutes, Utah-based Maile looks at the camera while breastfeeding and talking to Josiah.

Towards the end of the video, Josiah says: "It's good to breastfeed and kiss."
Maile replies: "Breastfeed and kiss? What do you mean?"
The little boy says: "Yesterday you were pretending you were my girlfriend and you were my boyfriend — I'm, I'm your boyfriend — and I kissed you."
Maile looks amused and laughs, before saying "That is so cute," and abruptly ending the video.

The video is being labeled "sick" by some of its 4.7 million viewers.
"did youre [sic] son say that you pretended to be his girlfriend i need answers," one commenter wrote.
Another: "Wait did he say they were pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend and kissed?" Someone replied: "Yes that what I heard and that's why she stopped recording" and another woman responded: "very sick".
Another went so far as to say the mom "has psychological issues and is looking for attention".
Others leaped to the mum's defence, saying the boy was probably talking about another little girl and that he's only young.

In a new video published Sunday about her decision to breastfeed during sex, Maile defended herself once again.
"My response to all of the comments is just — I see past it, I see the projecting when somebody says anything negative or not so nice.
"It's nothing to do with me. None of you guys know me."
"It's kind of silly. It's kind of funny. And people are wondering why I'm sharing — I share my whole life. I share everything with you guys."
