Lock the door that doesn't lock
If you have the misfortune of having a bedroom door that doesn't lock (and you also have curious children wandering the halls at inopportune times of day), the solution is simple: lock the door anyway.
Wedge a door jam or a door stopper beneath the door on the inside of your bedroom. Test it out a few times to make sure the door won't budge, or that it will at least give you time to scramble for cover. By the way, this only works if your door opens inwards — if it opens into the hall, it might be time to look for a new (locking) door handle.
Keep lubricant handy
Sure, lube can live in its original packaging inside the drawer of a bedside table. But if you're tired of fumbling with the bottle in the middle of the night, make things easier on yourself by transferring it to an empty soap dispenser.
Not only will it make lubing up a breeze (just a simple squirt will do the trick), but it will also speed up your wait time — meaning less chance of the mood being ruined by a too-difficult seal.
Eat a pineapple
This old wives' tale may actually have some truth to it; Daytime TV’s favorite scrub-wearer, Dr. Mehmet Oz says pineapple can actually make your vagina smell and taste different.
“Everything you eat changes the smell and the taste down there—everything,” Dr. Oz said on The Real. He notes that pineapple, per say, isn’t better than other healthy fruits and veggies, but it certainly will make a difference in your personal aroma.

Keep your socks on
We admit, it may not be the sexiest look in the world, but ladies, if you're having issues reaching orgasm, try leaving your socks on during sex.
