Amy Roloff isn’t waiting until the New Year to get back on her weight loss track.
The Little People, Big World matriarch shared a candid video on Instagram Tuesday, telling fans she is working to revive her health and fitness journey.
Roloff gave herself and fans a pep talk while on a walk with her dog Felix and boyfriend Chris Marek.
Have you ever fallen off the nutrition exercise wagon? I guess I did. Need to lose a few 😳Amazing how it creeps up on you. So I’m trying to get back on track. I’ve done it bf I can do it again. Walking and doing a routine around my farm is a part of it along w/ Chris walking and rooting me on and Felix as my daily ‘friend’ on this journey again. The hardest but best time of year to do it- gives me ‘a little’ restraint from all the holiday goodies. Love to hear what worked for you. #amyssecondact #gettingbackontrackagain #icandothisagain #stillenjoytheholidays #stayingfocus #stillhavingablast
“Doing a little workout again, getting back to it more consistently, I should say,” the mom told fans. Her motivation is to lose a few pounds before heading on a cruise with friends in April.
In the caption, the reality personality said he’s trying to get back on track after weight gain crept up on her.
“It’s a struggle… but even if you fall off, you can always get back on,” Roloff assured fans. “I am!”
She added that rather than wait until resolution season at the top of next year, she’s walking every day during the “hardest but best time of year to do it.” Roloff said her healthy mindset will give her “ ‘a little’ restraint from all the holiday goodies.”
Her fans flooded the comments section with support, writing messages like “You got this girl,” and “Keep it up!”
Others told Roloff that her message was just the motivation they needed.
“I’m in the same boat!… Hope we can end the year on a good note,” one follower wrote. Another added, “I soooo needed this! Thanks Amy!!”
The Roloff mom hash-tagged the post “second act,” which is her nickname for life after her divorce from Matt Roloff and her kids moved out.
She also used hashtags to describe her outlook on life, adding them for “getting back on track again,” “I can do this again,” “staying focuse[ed]” and “still having a blast.”
