If you're dreading hitting the gym later today, you're not alone in that. Who hasn't had a day when catching up on all your favorite TV shows sounds better than getting in a quality sweat sesh at the gym? And while letting your body rest and recover from all the activity you put it through is totally necessary for maintaining a healthy balance, we're never going to stray away from talking all about the benefits of exercise.
Higher energy levels? Check. Instant mood boost? Check. Decreased risk of developing certain health issues like heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer? Check, check, check. But you already knew all that, didn't you? It's not exactly breaking news that regular exercise is good for you.
If all of the above doesn't encourage you to hit the gym on a regular basis, maybe a little fitspiration will help — we know it works for us. Especially when it comes to working out your lower body, exercise can completely transform your body. Just ask these 10 ladies with bootylicious butts who are the queens of posting belfies (butt selfies) on Instagram.
Known widely as the world's most famous butt, Jen Selter even has a belfie pose named after her — it's called #seltering. This girl is no stranger to squats, squat pulses, jump squats or fire hydrants, and shares workout videos on Instagram on the reg.
No one said getting a booty like Selter's would be easy, but we have some go-to moves for sculpted glutes right here.
Why Gaining Weight is a GOOD Thing👀 TAG A FRIEND who needs to see this! . 140ish lbs vs. 152 lbs. Pear shaped (at best) vs. Strong hourglass. No cardio vs. Sub-22:00min 5km run. Random food choices vs. Educated and enjoyable food choices. BAD acne and oily skin vs. Smooth and taut skin. I could go on. . Weight is NOT the only measure of progress. If you want to drastically transform your body, you MUST build muscle. And muscle has weight. Progress pictures and body part measurements are MUCH better indicators of whether you’re moving towards your goal shape or not. . PS Chicago Glute Camp is Oct 22. Not only does Abby have a killer booty, but she's got an inspiring transformation story to go along with it. While she was in engineering school, she was under a lot of pressure from classes, family health issues and relationship drama. She told Cosmopolitan that her diet was the one thing she felt like she could control — so she began obsessing over counting and burning calories, eating only 1,000 calories per day.
Eventually, she reached out to a nutritionist for help, who bumped up her daily consumption to 2,000 calories per day. Abby also cut back on her daily two-hour cardio sessions and now focuses on weight training four days a week.
Today, she works for TransformNation, helping other women meet their own fitness goals. "Transformation does not come from finding the 'perfect' moment, training plan, or diet," she told Cosmo. "It comes from taking action and choosing to learn through your failures, rather than give up."

Celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins shares some of her intense booty-sculpting workouts on Instagram, and we're exhausted just watching a couple videos. But if you're a fan of the svelte figures from celebs like Pink, Alicia Keys, Tia Mowry, Amber Rose, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams or Shonda Rhimes, it might be worth it to give Jenkins a quick follow.
It's no surprise to see squat variations rule the lineup in her workout routines, as well as lower body work like lunges, jacks and high knees.
We are our own biggest critics. And sometimes we seriously need to cool it. This is a picture from my trip to the Maldives and when I first saw it, I didn't think to myself, "look how strong I look" or "look how happy I was to be there" (despite the blue steel look on my face 😄) no...I immediately dubbed it a "bad" photo because the side of my thigh looks patchy and that's all I could see. Like, that's stupid. It's stupid that we let one little "flaw" ruin our entire perspective of ourselves or of a picture. We hold ourselves to such insane, impossible standards to be so completely perfect and when we don't live up to it, we fault ourselves. We search for creams and devices and methods to fix that one little aspect of ourselves. Obsessing over "flaws" is literally a waste of time AND money. The worst part about it is someone else would never point that out on you or notice it themselves. And if they do, WHO CARES!! Someone's going to notice you're human? These "flaws" only have as much power as you give them. And if you aren't able to say, "Screw I'm fabulous 💁" just yet, fake it til you make it. Instead of nitpicking the tiniest thing others would never notice, focus on what you DO love about yourself 💗 Positive self-talk is where it all begins and the only person who can get you there is you. #fbggirls www.annavictoria.com/guides
Fitness model and certified personal trainer Anna Victoria can pose with the best of 'em, but that doesn't mean she's out of touch with reality, either. She's well known for her body-positive attitude online and frequently posts photos revealing what goes on behind the scenes to maker her look as good as possible.
When she's not sharing side-by-side photos showcasing the difference between a candid and posed shot of her abs, you can bet she's at the gym. She frequently showcases booty workouts like forward lunge and squat compounds, squat variation with crab walks, lunges with a barbell between her legs, and more. With every intense exercise, Victoria reminds her fans to squeeze their booty. No booty squeeze equals no booty gains.

She says that even if you're born with a tiny butt, you can still hold out hope if you want a bubble butt like hers.
"I post glutes exercise videos day after day to show people that while genetics do play an important role in determining the size of your glutes, significantly growing the muscles is absolutely possible," she told Cosmo.
In fact, her butt has garnered so much attention that there are even "quite a few non-believers" who think her round booty is fake. "It's actually opened my eyes because I never thought my progress was that dramatic," she said.
