JWoww posted a new image of herself in the Girly Curves Waist Trainer. While her posting about these kinds of products is no new feat, some followers were alarmed at the length of time she recommends wearing the product.
"I wear it 6-8 hrs & it's comfortable," she wrote. "Being a Mom I know how difficult it to stay fit. I recommend it to all Moms that trying to get that pre baby body back or for anyone who wants a smaller waist."
Many followers were supportive of the former Jersey Shore cast member, but wanted her to realize that wearing a waist trainer that long could lead to some issues.
"You do you, but don't promote wearing this 6-8 hours," wrote user Alyssa Michele. "Sooo bad for your organs [oh my God]."
"It's bad for your fascia but u look great!" wrote Jennifer Davis. "Don't wear tight anything!"
"Why do we feel as a women that we need to be so f---ing tiny?!?" wrote Jen Buttrick. "If that makes you happy, go for it, but I think it's crazy that socially there is so much pressure to be so tight and tucked in! I think you looked amazing before and without it. Workout and eat healthy and be the best you you can be."
JWoww hasn't responded to any of the waist trainer's critics as of yet. She followed up the waist trainer ad with a trailer for the upcoming reality show Road Trip Reunion, which will feature Jwoww reunite with her former Jersey Shore castmates.
