Jenna Dewan Tatum means business with her latest revealing photo, and we aren't complaining.
After joking on Instagram stories that she’d hit up Soulcycle “next time” and opted for pancakes instead, Tatum blessed us with this skin-filled photo in her all-camo workout gear.
In what is probably the best mirror selfie of all time, Tatum strikes a carefree pose to reveal her slim arms and seriously chiseled abs.
“Never too much camo right [@ Emanuelle Chrique]?” the Step Up star wrote alongside her sexy snap, likely hinting to the silk camo dress Chrique wore to the Magic Mike Live premiere in April.
But with those fierce pancake cravings, how does Tatum keep such a fit figure? She says the key is in ditching diets for a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
“I consider eating healthy a way of life because I feel better, plain and simple,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m not a fan of dieting, which is why I choose to eat healthy most of the time. I keep it in balance, so I don’t have to crash diet. When I want to splurge I allow myself and don’t beat myself up — I just make a plan to eat extra healthy the next day or work out.”
The World of Dance star notes that she mostly eats a plant-based diet (which apparently does include French fries!). “I also choose to eat plant-based foods because not only is it healthy and yummy, but I feel ethically right,” she said. “We have become so off-balance with our animal consumption. Even one meatless meal a week helps!”
Tatum starts her day with nutritionist Kimberly Snyder’s Glowing Green Smoothie, which includes spinach, romaine lettuce, water, celery, apple, pear, banana, lemon juice, cilantro and parsley. She mixes up a fruitier smoothie as an afternoon snack.
The fit actress says lunch usually consists of quinoa tabouli, hummus and a cucumber tomato salad with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.
For a flavorful, semi-spicy dinner, Tatum eats a quinoa bowl with black beans, chopped tomatoes, roasted squash, zucchini, red peppers, avocado, corn, salsa, tortilla strips, lime, vegan chipotle sauce, salt and pepper.
But, clearly, those abs aren’t made in the kitchen alone! Tatum works with trainer Jennifer Johnson three to five times per week, and she keeps an active lifestyle when they aren’t hitting the gym together. The actress/dancer starts sessions with a 30-minute dance warm-up, then moves on to resistance bands work for long, lean muscles.
"After that, we dig into some arms, mix in some kickboxing and punching, and move on to the ballet bar or mat. It’s a lot of combination moves and planking,” Johnson told Shape of Tatum’s routine.
"Her body is beautiful, so she’s really just tuning to make everything as tight as it can be," Johnson continues. "She also understands her body and is in tune with it. I love teaching her because she’s so in sync with herself."
From the looks of this latest all-abs shot, we believe it.
