Kendall Jenner already faced a major controversy this year over her widely panned Pepsi ad, and it looks like the model has unwittingly waded into another with one of her recent tweets.
sister power...girl power 👊🏽 pic.twitter.com/QzIziXVV0A

The 21-year-old shared a tweet featuring the recent The Hollywood Reporter cover featuring Jenner, her mom, Kris Jenner and siblings Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian. "Sister power...girl power," Kendall tweeted, along with a fist emoji.
The emoji she chose was a tan one, the third in the row of five color options given to users. It was this choice that enraged some Twitter users, who criticized her for choosing a tan emoji when Kendall herself is Caucasian.

😭 oh nah, why Kendall put her emoji as a darker skin tone?

While many shared their distaste for the model's choice, others noted the Internet's propensity for creating major drama out of the smallest issues.
People are ACTUALLY mad about the COLOUR of the emoji Kendall Jenner used. Surely there's more important things to be angry about? 🤦🏼♀️
