Macaulay Culkin is looking more like his Home Alone days than he has in quite some time. The former child star chopped off his long locks and is now sporting a healthy, clean cut look.

On Sunday, the 36-year-old actor was photographed after a dinner date in Los Angeles. He was joined by actress Brenda Song.

For the outing, the Pizza Underground band member went casual wearing a denim shirt with a white tee underneath and a pair of black jeans. He completed his look with brown boots and oversized glasses.

Culkin's date for the evening, Song, 29, wore black leather shorts and a low cut top along with a baggy gray cardigan. See more photos of Culkin and Song on their dinner date this past weekend here.

The two are starring in the upcoming film titled Changeland, which will be the directorial debut for actor Seth Green. Neither Culkin nor Song have publicly commented on the status of their relationship.

In the past, Culkin was married to Rachel Miner from 1998 to 2002. After their split, he began dating Black Swan star, Mila Kunis.

As for Song, she was previously engaged to musician Trace Cyrus, the brother of Miley Cyrus.

Culkin's appearing in Changeland will be the first time that he has taken a film role in 10 years.

In a statement, the Richie Rich alum spoke out about his excitement for his next film role.

"It feels like a dream to be filming in Thailand with an incredible crew and some of my closest friends," he said.

While Culkin finds enjoyment doing films like Changeland, he doesn't find it nearly as pleasurable being photographed by the paparazzi. This was made clear by the way Culkin held his hand up in front of the cameras to hide his face this past Sunday. Also, he has been outspoken about how he actively tries to avoid the cameras.

"I just don't turn my back, I actively don't want it. The paps go after me because I don't whore myself out." He said last year during an interview withThe Guardian. "I was thinking about this the other day - I'd crossed the wrong street, picked up a tail, suddenly there's a crush of 20 paparazzi. Then people with camera phones get involved. I don't think I'm worthy of that."

Sunday's dinner date with Song also marked the first time that Culkin has been seen in public since his on-screen father from Home Alone, John Heard, passed away.
