While everyone has different criteria when seeking a partner, there is research to show that the different body parts that a person finds desirable can give insight as to the kind of relationship someone truly wants.

For those who like larger breasts, there is a hidden meaning in that specific desire. A study reported in Men's Health was conducted by showing a group of men a series of pictures of women with breast sizes ranging from small to extra large. The research concluded that those who preferred bigger breasts "had lax attitudes toward sex and favored short-term commitment."

As for those who preferred smaller breasts, the participants were "focused on traits that are important in the long run like personality and parenting skills."

In the same line of thinking, the participants that were more concerned with a woman's shape than her face were less interested in settling down. The study showed that men were told to consider a woman for a short-term relationship, and when doing so, 51% were more likely to check out a woman's body first. When told to consider a long-term relationship, only 25% of participants looked at a woman's figure first.

Confidence

One of the key elements the questioned men zoned in on was confidence.

That can be manifested in many way, from the actions you take, to the words you say, to just your overall vibe. The bedroom should be place where your anxieties can be relaxed and you can be open about what you want.

"Be as confident as you can," said Harrison, 22. "Being enthralled in your sexiness takes my mind off of my insecurities so I can enjoy it too. Know when to let go and let me be in charge, but take control when you want. The balance of dominance is undeniably sexy."

This confidence can be extended into trying new tactics in bed. Whether that be in trying new positions, or even making your partner watch you take care of yourself.

"Don't be afraid to be forward and ask for what you want: fantasies, acts, positions," said Greg, 36.

"Masturbate in front of us," said Nadeem, 23. "My girlfriend did this and said something along the lines of, 'You can look, but you can't touch.' Once she finished herself off she went down on me for a bit and we proceeded to have the best sex of my life."

Communication

Branching off of confidence, there's communication. The interviewed guys stressed that you've got to let them know what you enjoy. It'll make the experience better for both parties.

"Don't be scared to tell men what you want us to do," said Brian, 33. "It'll turn us on knowing doing that will get you there."

"Talk to us. It's much more worthwhile if you tell us what you like and don't like," said Daniel, 23. "Faking an orgasm because you want us to feel good about our performance doesn't help anyone."

On that same note, when you are satisfied with the how your partner is doing, let them know. This lets them know whatever they're doing is working, and it's also a big turn on.

"Make sure we know you enjoy it," said Ryan, 19. "Even if you don't like talking dirty just let us know because guys like to hear they are doing a good job. Just a simple 'Don't stop' is good enough."

Movements and Looks

The also had a variety of suggestion when it came to movements to try out during sex.

Those included thrusting hips fast while on top, contracting pelvic muscles, wrapping legs around your partner and more.

Oral sex was also a topic of conversation. Several men suggested to work it into the routine and to make eye contact while doing it.

While receiving, it was also suggested that you guide your partner. That helps them improve helps you get more pleasure in the moment and the next time it occurs.

Pheromones

One of the most interesting suggestions came from 32-year-old responder Sean. He brought some science into things by bringing up pheromones.

He suggests utilizing this natural occurrence to help boost attraction.

"Pheromones exists for a very specific reason — they make people horny," he said. "A lot of women are freaked out about getting intimate if they haven't showered that day or maybe if they've just gotten done exercising, but I personally like the way that the people whom I'm attracted to smell. To be completely frank: sometimes a little BO is a turn-on."
