'Fixer Upper' Star Chip Gaines Addresses Rumors He's Splitting With Wife Joanna

Fixer Upper fans, listen up!

Chip Gaines has a message for anyone who believes the HGTV dream team is heading for Splitsville. The reality star took to Twitter after a user posted a comment saying that she was "sick of these 'stories' claiming @joannagaines and @chippergaines breaking up."

"Won't ever happen..you can take that to the bank! #loveOfMyLife," Gaines tweeted.

Although unclear what the source of the breakup rumors was, the couple seems to be going strong both on and off screen, crediting everything to their hard work.

"Nothing has come easy," Gaines told PEOPLE. "We've worked so hard to have this beautiful family and this farm — it really does seem like the American dream you heard about growing up."

And even though the dynamic duo got lucky with their popular TV show, in addition to their other rapidly growing businesses, their main priority is still their family.

"Jo and I both made a commitment early on that the two of us are the most important variable," Gaines said. "IF we can figure out how to be right as a couple, then obviously we have a lot better opportunity to be right for our kids."

The two share four children — Drake, Ella, Duke and Emmie.
