Carter and his girlfriend were both also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug-related products, and there's allegedly a reason behind that as well. Carter reportedly has a medical marijuana license since he suffers from anxiety.

Aaron's older brother Nick, a member of the Backstreet Boys, reached out to his brother via Twitter, offering to help him out whenever he needed it. Aaron didn't appreciate the gesture. He claims that his brother should have called him, not put their business out on social media.

"If my own blood truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum? That's not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down. I love my family despite it through thick and thin."
