Chris Pratt and Anna Faris broke the hearts of their fans on Sunday night when announcing their separation. Despite the unfortunate news, the two have a special project coming out in the next few months.
Faris’ new book titled Unqualified will be hitting the shelves on Oct. 24, but it turns out she didn’t work on the project alone.
Pratt wrote the foreword to her book, according to E! News.
"Her comic memoir and first book, Unqualified, will share Anna's candid, sympathetic, and entertaining stories of love lost and won," the project's description stated. "Part memoir, part humorous, unflinching advice from her hit podcast Anna Faris Is Unqualified, the book will reveal Anna's unique take on how to navigate the bizarre, chaotic, and worthwhile adventure of finding love."
The beloved Hollywood couple, who shares 4-year-old son Jack, revealed they were separating after eight years of marriage with messages on social media.
"We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward," Pratt wrote on Facebook. "We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."

Faris and Pratt shocked the internet when they announced their separation, and a recent interview with Faris in which she referred to her relationship with Pratt as "tricky" is now making the rounds online.
In July, Faris spoke to People about navigating life as part of a celebrity power couple, which she and Pratt certainly were.
“I don’t think that’s
“There are two different roles that you play — the one on-camera and the one in public,” she continued. “That’s the tricky part.”
In the same interview, Faris shared that normal activities helped the couple to stay grounded amidst their hectic lives.
“Chris loves to work in the garage and I love to do laundry and watch reality television,” she said. “Just normal people.”
After Pratt and Faris announced that they are "legally separating" on Sunday, some fans began to blame Jennifer Lawrence for their split. While the idea is nothing more than conjecture, some social media users seem convinced that the Oscar winner was the reason Pratt and his wife of eight years called it quits.

Lawrence, 26, and Pratt, 38, starred in the film Passengers together. Despite there being no indication that Lawrence had any involvement in the split, fans have been quick to recall one seemingly awkward exchange between Faris, 40, and Lawrence at the premiere of the movie in December of 2016.
The women were photographed hugging but Faris appeared to have a disgruntled expression on her face while Lawrence's hands remain in a claw-like mold as to not fully touch her co-star's wife.
While it might have been an uncomfortable moment, it definitely wasn't concrete evidence that there was a rift between Faris and Lawrence. Either way, there are those that are saying Lawrence is at fault.

Some social media users believe that Pratt and Lawrence will announce that they are dating, even though Lawrence has been heavily involved for months with Darren Aronofsky.

TMZ sources are claiming that Faris, 40, has a more traditional view of how their brood should interact. She wants them to be together most of the time and have a home base, which has been Los Angeles for her in recent years. The Mom star also reportedly wants more children.
On the other hand, Pratt reportedly doesn't want more children in the foreseeable future because his career is at an all-time high right now. Due to the fact that he has become a Hollywood heavyweight, the Guardians of the Galaxy star is being given opportunities that take him all over the world. Thus, making a traditional family life quite difficult.
While the former couple may have opposing viewpoints on having more children, they share the same love and connection to their son, Jack. Both Pratt and Faris
At this time Pratt and Faris are only separated, but they are making plans to finalize their split by getting a divorce, sources say. Even though they are calling it quits, the former couple is expected to be "as amicable as it gets" in their divorce proceedings.
In a different report, things could get messy if the couple continues into a divorce.
Each member of the comedy power couple has a decent amount of wealth in the bank. Pratt reportedly made $26 million in 2016 from his roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World franchises. Faris gets a large check from her CBS sitcom Mom, making a reported $125,000 an episode.
Fox News delved into what financial issues could arise if the couple formally divorce. It all really comes down to one thing — a prenuptial agreement.
There's no word if the couple agreed to one or not, but if they didn't, they'll have to split their earnings and assets in half.
While Faris has had the longer career, Pratt has racked up earnings since their 2009 marriage. If there's no agreement in place, he'll get the short end of the stick. Faris would have a reasonable claim to those big checks earned from his recent work.
“While both Mr. Pratt and Ms. Faris had Hollywood successes before their marriage and likely brought significant assets into the marriage, Mr. Pratt has enjoyed his greatest box office paydays during the... marriage, which could likely lead to Ms. Faris having a very strong claim to a portion of Mr. Pratt’s earnings incurred during their marriage," said Jason Hopper, practice manager of Cordell & Cordell law firm.
It's also presumed that Faris would be entitled to child support payments from Pratt.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the announcement has stunned the couple's friends, a source revealed.
There were no signs of trouble between the two, the source said, and those closest to them were reportedly "shocked" to hear they were splitting up. Friends were also surprised by the joint confession that Pratt and Faris had been trying to resolve their issues for a while.
"It's just insane," the source said. "Anna and Chris were so in love."
Despite the cheating rumors and fan accusations against Pratt's former co-star, Jennifer Lawrence, the insider insists Pratt isn't that kind of guy.
"It isn't true," the source added. "Chris wanted Anna on [set with him] whenever possible. He never wanted her to have a reason to worry."
