Even though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided to call it quits around this time last year, the Hollywood superstars could possibly be headed for a reconciliation. A source spoke out about the former couple in an interview with Us Weekly and said the divorce is in limbo.

"They haven't done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to," the source said.

The source also claims that those close to Pitt and Jolie could see them reuniting.

"Everyone thinks they are going to get back together," the source added. "It wouldn't be surprising if they announced that they're calling it off and trying to work things out."

Over the past several months, the Maleficent actress has been taking on the primary parenting duties of their six children, Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Now that she's been without her former spouse for a significant amount of time, Jolie may be rekindling feelings for Pitt.

"She's still so in love with him," the source said.

When the Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-stars announced their separation, Jolie reportedly took issue with Pitt's parenting tactics. During an interview with GQ, Pitt opened up about his parental shortcomings.

"I grew up with a father-knows-best/war mentality — the father is all-powerful, superstrong — instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles," he said.

"And it's hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven't been great at it," Pitt admitted.

One of the ways in which Pitt went about changing his act was by quitting alcohol. The Fight Club actor said that he was "boozing" so much that he "could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka." In his May cover story, the actor said he gave up alcohol cold turkey and that he has been sticking to cranberry juice and fizzy water.

"He got sober to try and win her back," the source said. "He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of. And that's all she ever wanted."
